Furnished 1800 sq’ lower level of this duplex has great separation of living space for sharing. The 12 x 12 bedroom is just off a hallway that leads to a landscaped garden with covered patio. There is full access and privacy in the living/dining room for my new housemate. I use the den as my private area. There is also a shared bonus room that is being used as a study. Kitchen has a large refrigerator/ pull out freezer and small eating spot. It features a gas stove, dishwasher and walk-in pantry. Bedroom has the option to use your own bedroom furnishings if you like. Indoor washer/dryer. The unit is a 1/2 block from the streetcar! It runs from the river to the French Quarter. The property is newly painted, clean, and all stainless steel appliances are recent models. The house is well maintained and in great condition.
I moved here 4 months ago and was born here. I’ve returned to the city after living many years in the mountains of Western North Carolina. I am an easy going person that enjoys people and also my private times as well. Miss living and hiking in the mountains but love being back in New Orleans. I will enjoy having another human in the house and respect the privacy of anyone that chooses to share rent with me. I rarely drink or entertain in the house but am out in the community alot. My upstairs neighbors are exceptionally nice and double as landlords, He is a Tulane professor and his wife is a great neighbor. Living here has been wonderful. My canine pet, Nora, is just 20 pounds. She loves people. She is a quiet girl of just under 2 years. My lease stipulates only one pet. The lease I signed is for 1 year but I plan to live in this great spot for a long time. I prefer a 1 year lease but will consider a shorter period.
