Room for Rent in Joliet, IL, West Side

The property is located on the west side of Joliet. Joliet itself is within commuting distance of Chicago, with the train station 15 minutes away or the city an hour away via the highway (I-80 exits are within 10 minutes of the property). Universities in the area include JJC, Lewis, and St. Francis. Grocery/general stores are all within a 20 minute drive, and there are multiple restaurants close by.

As for the actual property, the room is on the second floor, with two windows, a closet, and built in shelving. There is one shared bathroom, and a shared living room. We have 4 total people living in the house, and we have a variety of professions such as full time or part time, and some of us are still in school. We are all gamers, and some of us tend to be loud about it but never past 8pm. Two of us work weekends starting at 5am, so weekends are typically quiet. We also have 2 cats, so we are not accepting roommates who have roaming animals such as a dog or cat. However, an animal that stays in the room (such as a mouse, hamster, or snake) is fine. Edits to the room are fine, such as with screws or nails. The tiling is old and unable to be replaced, so there is staining but no damage to the actual floor. The room is big enough to fit a full size bed and a desk, and the closet is already built into the wall.
