I'm 58, looking for a mature person (possibly a couple) to rent the Master bedroom in my apartment. I am easy-going and friendly. Ideal person is polite, not obnoxious or overly loud and respectful. Apt is ideally located in Uptown. Bus stops going in every direction literally within one block. CTA train stops to Irving Park or to Wilson on Red Line both about a 10 min walk. It takes less than a minute to walk to the entrance of Jewel or Planet Fitness. Ross, Target Taco Bell, Aldi, Dunkin, a great deli, 7-11, PNC Bank and more are all less than a 5 minutes walk away. Parking is available in a garage on property, (highly recommended if you have a vehicle) although it is a bit costly at $269 a month. The alternative is looking for an open legal spot every time you come home, which is extremely difficult to find regardless of what time of day or night it is. Building has 24/7 security (who are extremely kind and helpful with residents). Pool is great but will be closing soon with Fall here, nice workout room on 3rd floor along with lounge/ pool table/ tv for any residents to use. Laundry room is spacious and well maintained on 2nd floor. Costs a little under $5 for a w/d load of clothes. There is no smoking allowed in the building. The apt has a zero PCT tolerance to this so I must as well.

I am open to any person-- even a couple I would consider. age, gender, religion, race, sexuality, etc are unimportant in regards to who I would rent to. Respect, honesty and courtesy among others do matter to me.
Lease would be month to month for first 3 months. After that time if we both feel copacetic about the living situation we can discuss a longer term
