I have a furnished bedroom for rent short term 8/1/2026-1/31/2027 or longer $800 per month plus $500 damage deposit which will be applied to final months rent

Me: Middle aged white male with 20 years in the recruiting profession and former rock n roll entertainment professional

Large 2 bedroom apartment in Lakeview/Uptown/Buena Park in a 100 year old building. Full Size bed (rarely uses) with walk in closet and shelf/desk clock

Wall art will be removed by move in date.

Room is 9.5 ft x 8.5 foot with 5 x 4 closet with shelf, hanger and storage

3rd floor apartment with large private deck/porch

Looking for a professional type or someone that works days as I work primarily from home M-F

Must be cat friendly I have 2 in house cats

Wi-Fi, Streaming TV channels, heat, electric, water/trash included

Eat in kitchen

I have all the cooking pots, pans, drinkware, dishes etc. Renter must be respectful if using and clean up after

Renter provides their own bath towels and bedding

Shares toiletries and kitchen and bathroom cleaning supplies purchases.

Smoking outside only

ABSOLUTELY NO ILLEGAL DRUG USE

1 block to Sheridan Red Line Station

1/2 block to 151 Sheridan bus and 80 Irving Park and X9 Ashland Express

*note we record a live podcast from the middle (dining room) room on most Sundays early afternoon so keeping noise down during that time 1-2 hours is necessary however the apartment is large enough this should not be an issue for a respectful person
