Friendly internationally oriented home located in the St. Ben's area between Lincoln Square and Roscoe Village. Fully furnished. The neighborhood is a great, fun area with lots of things to do, well-known pubs and restaurants, entertainment to fit anyone's needs and easy access to other areas of the city and expressways. The Irving Park stop of the Brown Line El train (plus buses) is an easy walk from the house and is what most people use to get around. There is easy, no permit required street parking if you have a car (or have friends with cars).

The apartment is in a classic Chicago 2 flat, located on the 3900 block of North Hamilton Avenue, renovated, plenty of room (3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 6 rooms total) with an additional shared family/TV room, yard, patio, gas grill and garden. The cost includes everything except food.

The bedroom available has a full size bed, desk, dresser, large bookcase and a closet.

Included in the price are:

* All furnishings, linens, paper and house hold products
* Wifi, cable TV, Utilities
* Free laundry (in house)
* Fully stocked and updated kitchen with dishwasher (cooks are always welcomed - We'll help with the cleanup)
* Cleaning lady every other week so there are no hassles about who is going to vacuum or dust, etc. She also cleans the bedrooms and changes sheets.
* And fun but very considerate, friendly, easy to get along with, good people who know and love Chicago

We are liberal and broad thinking but not into drugs except for wine, beer and an occasional gin and tonic. And mojitos in the summer when the mint is growing.

There are actually two apartments in the building so there is no lack of company when needed but yet ample space for alone and private time when that is needed.

Living in the building (including both apartments) are graduate students and interns (and some with actual jobs) representing the US, Venezuela, Germany, India and China.. March 1 there will be 2 males remaining in the apartment that has the room available (3 bedrooms). In the second apartment, there will be 2 females and 2 males.

It is a very friendly, welcoming place and there is plenty of space and amenities, the most important amenity being the people. Any questions, just ask and we will answer.

We do expect all roommates and visitors to be fully vaccinated and have their Covid boosters up to date as we want to stay healthy. As a group, we are tidy and keep the place nice.
