Seeking a mature, FEMALE roommate to share my home. Available 11/15/24.

Bedroom, shared bathroom and sitting area on the second floor of a renovated Prairie-style bungalow located on a quiet Lakeview residential street.

Within a mile radius: Whole Foods, Jewel, Aldi’s, Costco, Trader Joe’s, Target, Walgreens, XSport Fitness, Hamlin Park, public library, full-service laundromat, dry cleaners, boutiques, casual restaurants, the Paulina stop on the Brown Line, the Belmont stop on the Red Line and the #77 Belmont bus. Visit the seasonal Sunday Farmer’s Market just a block away.

The common areas of the residence are tastefully furnished and includes a fully equipped kitchen with access to a peaceful deck overlooking a serene organic vegetable garden. Free street parking and located close to the Kennedy Expressway.

Current roommates both work outside the home. Seeking a roommate who also works away from home and appreciates a calm and peaceful home environment.

Utilities: High speed internet, water, sewer and trash pick up are included. Gas and electric averages between $25-100 per person per month. Rates fluctuate based on time of year and usage.

Heating – Separately zoned gas forced air furnaces heat each floor of the house and are controlled by two thermostats. Current roommates prefer cooler ambient temps (65 F on average) during the heating season.

Cooling – Ceiling fans keep indoor temp at a comfortable level. You may install a portable or window AC unit for your bedroom if you wish provided you are responsible for additional electric charge and maintenance..

Cleaning – We are each responsible for keeping our bedrooms, shared spaces neat and clean. The house has gorgeous maple floors throughout making maintenance easy. Participation in recycling and composting would be greatly appreciated. We are an eco-conscious household.

Laundry - 1 mile away (next to Costco and Aldi). Drop off service available.

Roommate expectations – Females preferred. No smoking, no drug use, no firearms/weapons, no pets/children. Daytime guests are fine with prior check in, no overnight guests. Background check and references required.

Annual tenancy preferred. No short term leases. No working from home. No pets.
