Room available in a comfortable, well-kept second-floor apartment in a safe, quiet neighborhood and non-smoking building. Rent is $850/month and includes gas, electric and internet.
One of the best things about the place is the location. The Blue Line is about 2 blocks away, making it easy to get to O'Hare or downtown without a car. Montrose and Irving Park buses are nearby, and street parking is generally easy to find.
The bedroom is approximately 7' x 10' and can be furnished or unfurnished. The apartment has hardwood floors, a shared bathroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, enclosed front porch and good-sized backyard.
Who You'd Be Living With
You'll be sharing the apartment with two friendly, responsible men, both over 40. We're open to a male or female roommate and LGBTQ+ friendly. Different personalities, backgrounds and interests are welcome—we're much more interested in finding someone who's responsible, respectful and a comfortable fit for the household.
We each have our own schedules and lives and respect each other's privacy and personal space, but we're friendly too. We're not looking for a home where everybody hides in their bedroom and never talks. 😄 Sometimes we'll hang out, joke around, or watch a game or movie together, but there's absolutely no expectation that everyone has to socialize.
We're looking for someone who's friendly, mature, responsible, reasonably clean and easy to get along with. We want everyone living here to feel comfortable and at home.
We like to have fun, but this is NOT a party house. It's a quiet, comfortable place to come home to. Being considerate about noise, guests and shared spaces is important.
