Hi — I just signed a 2BR apartment in the Edgewater / Rogers Park area and I’m looking for a roommate starting May 1.

The apartment is clean and updated with hardwood floors throughout, a renovated kitchen (stainless appliances), and a recently updated bathroom. It gets good natural light, and there’s access to a small back deck.

The living room will be furnished (couch, TV, etc.) before move-in, and there’s also space if you’d like to bring additional furniture. I can share a short video walkthrough since I won’t be able to do in-person showings until May.

Rent:
$800/month + split utilities (heat included)

Location:
• ~10 min walk to UP-N Metra
• ~12 min to bus (Red Line access)
• Permit street parking

A couple notes:
• No central AC — you’d need your own window unit
• Monthly professional cleaning for shared spaces is included
• I have a small dog (poodle mix) in the unit

About me:
I’m a 42-year-old working professional. Pretty low-key during the week and I keep the place clean and organized.

Looking for:
Someone clean, reliable, non-smoker, and easy to live with. Ideally another working professional with a consistent schedule.
