Street is not permit parking and has a grocery store (Cermak fresh market) 2 blocks away. Approximately 11 minute bus ride to the Logan square blue line. No pets or couples. I live in the other bedroom downstairs. No security deposit but you'll need to pass a credit and background check and first and last months rent.

About the space: The whole apartment (minus my room) is yours to use but the room for rent is east facing with 5 huge windows (perfect for plant parents!) and has a large closet with an organizer. The bathroom is a few steps from the room, it has built in storage and has a great shower. The living room/kitchen is an open concept area with huge south facing windows and the kitchen has a massive island that is great for cooking and entertaining. Downstairs is another TV room with a wet bar for entertaining and the in-unit washer/dryer.

About me: I am a 30 year old Software Developer who works hybrid, in office 3 days a week and home the other two. I love cooking, listening to music, needlepointing, playing board games, watching tv, listening to podcasts, and keeping organized. It’s important to me to keep my home tidy so I’d ideally find someone who also appreciates cleanliness. I like to have friends over occasionally for dinner or the odd “party” (I throw a pumpkin carving party every year) and like to generally keep a positive vibe in my home. I believe your home is your sanctuary from the bs life throws us, I hate having issues with my roommate or feeling uncomfortable so I’d love to find another person who will feel comfortable respectfully discussing any unforeseen issues. I am down to be friends or just roomies, I spend a lot of time in my room and am often wearing headphones so I’m a pretty quiet and mindful person to live with. friendly.
