Room available in top-floor (walk up one flight of stairs) garden apartment surrounded by trees. Room is large with ample closet space. Bathroom is not ensuite, but is for your personal use. W/D (monthly fee) in apartment. Common areas (kitchen, LR, DR) are furnished (but we can accommodate some kitchen items and small furnishings), bedroom is unfurnished. The apartment is a classic roommate layout with bedrooms/bathrooms on opposite sides of the common area. Large porch looking out over trees. Water, trash, and community fees included, gas/electric (heat & AC) and wifi are extra--usually about $100 each total in the winter and $150 each total in the summer. Ample parking in front of building.

Lovely community with fitness room, pool, tennis court, grill area. Exceptional location very close to 285/75 for commuting ease. 20 mins to downtown or Marietta, 15 mins to Westside restaurants/venues or Buckhead. Near old town Vinings, many grocery stores, restaurants, Costco and Cumberland Mall, 5 minutes to the Battery and Truist Park (we can hear the fireworks from our porch!).

I'm a single, GenX, professional woman who has lived in the apartment for 4 and a half years. I generally work from home. I'm fairly quiet at home, cook a lot, travel a fair bit, and entertain only occasionally. I like watching movies/tv series. I love watching hockey and baseball. I love to play board games and occasionally will have friends over to do so. I'm a trivia fiend! I'm originally from Washington, DC, and have lived all over the US, including NYC, SF, LA, Houston, and Baltimore. I am politically active (no MAGA!), open minded, LGBTQIA+ friendly, happy to share with someone of any race or religion (I myself am not religious). I am an outdoor smoker. I drink in moderation (a beer or glass of wine after work or with dinner a few times a week--no ragers), don't do any drugs.

I would like to share with someone who works (pref hybrid or onsite, as I work from home) full time, will not regularly have overnight guests, and who is conscientious about keeping shared spaces tidy (you can do what you want in your room/bathroom). Outside smoker ok, moderate drinking ok. No hard drugs, no excessive boozing, no smoking inside. I have two rescue cats so can't have any other pets. I'd love it if we hit it off and enjoyed chatting, but I'm also fine with friendly, relaxed co-existence without much socializing. I very much do not want drama in my home!
