Hi all! My husband and I are looking to rent a room in our 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house near Crisp Park, available now. We are looking for someone laid back and tidy that lives a positive lifestyle. LGTBQ+ allies. Looking for a female roommate (I’m just more comfortable with another lady in the home v. a man). Ideally, we would like a roommate who works outside of the house but would consider someone who works from home if it’s the right fit.

3-month lease with option to extend/become longer long term if we mesh well. Willing to consider month-to-month the right fit. Available 4/1/26.

$1,150-$1,250 each month for private room with *mostly* private bathroom (see notes below). Includes ALL utilities, WIFI, multiple streaming services (that are logged in on the Smart TV in your room) AND a housekeeper that comes once a week. Your choice on if you want the housekeeper to clean your room or stay out. We also have pest control membership, lawn care membership etc.

1st month plus security deposit to move in.
$35 background check through Innago.
Must love animals. We have two chocolate labs and a 12 year old kitty.

*might* consider a small breed, well behaved dog that gets along with cats. Must pass a meet and greet with our animals. Hard no on other cats – our cat does not like other cats. We’ve tried before lol.

The space:

Conveniently located! 2 minute drive to CVS, Whole Foods, and two Publix. 4 minutes to Aldi and Trader Joes. 10 minute scenic bike ride to Vinoy Park and the Pier. 2 minute walk to Crisp Park – great spot to pop your kayak in. Short walk to scenic Coffee Pot Bayou for those sunset vibes. Very safe, quiet neighborhood.

Newly remodeled. New floor, drywall, paint, baseboards, full bathroom remodels (even the tub), full kitchen remodel – all new appliances. New washer/dryer and water heater. AC was replaced 2 ½ years ago and comes with a nest smart thermostat. HUGE sun deck in the massive, PVC fenced back yard. Cute front porch with comfy chairs.

The room being rented comes with a comfy queen bed, a futon, air purifier (we have them in each room), smart TV on the wall, closet etc. The bedroom gets the MOST sunlight out of all the rooms in the house. Beautiful black out curtains already hung. Rooms on the opposite side of the house to ours, for extra privacy.

You would have primary use of the guest bathroom, which is conveniently located next to your room. The bathroom boasts a brand-new tub, extra hot water, a rain shower head faucet, a handheld faucet that is attached lower so you can easily wash your hair in the tub without having to get up, built in storage nook and extra shelves. There’s also a medicine cabinet and storage in the vanity. Now, here’s the caveat – this bathroom has the only tub in the house. I'm recovering from a car accident/injuries, so I need to be able to take an Epson salt bath once a day. I can do this at any time, so happy to work out times that you prefer I use it. I also won’t shave in your tub haha I just need to dump a ton of Epson salt and soak for 20-30 minutes once a day. Other than the bath, the bathroom is all yours.

We have a fully stocked kitchen, with extras like pressure cooker, rice cooker, and everything you could need for cooking. We LOVE cooking. Part of the fridge and freezer will have dedicated space for you. The kitchen has a MASSIVE wall of pantry cabinets, and we will give you your own section.

The extra room is a mixed use room (and the largest in the house). It’s our office, music room, mediation room, Pilates room, work out room etc. We have tons of fitness stuff in there, and we are happy to share if you’re into that type of thing! Large, clear floor area to do lunges/work outs plus a work out bench. You’re also welcome to plug into our office desk (it’s an electric stand up desk, ergonomic chair, two screens etc) when it’s not in use. We also have a printer, vibration plate, infrared light panels, massage guns, Chirp REM wheel, muscle scrapping tools etc. etc. etc. Perfect for your post work out recovery or winding down from the day.

Backyard has a gas grill. Large fully fenced back yard.

About us:

Erol works during the day as a music teacher and I’m in and out all day for appointments. We've been together for 7 years and married for 4. Erol also does music production. 35 F and 40 M. No toxic masculinity here – we also have tons of references.

Not Trump supporters.

We both try to live a positive, healthy, happy lifestyle. We don’t judge humans on trivial things like how they look and who they love! I love giving back to my community, helping others, being a good human, and previously helped run a large rescue in the area along with fostering countless numbers of dogs. I even provided volunteer supplies, medicine and vaccines out of my house.

We meal prep for the week, typically splitting the meal prep between Sunday night and Monday night. AC is kept around 73/74 during the day and 71 at night.

Erol get’s up at 5:45 a. m. for work and I get up at 6:00 a. m. to start my day. We are quiet in the morning and appreciate a calm start to the day.

We don’t drink or party. Erol might have an occasional glass of wine out with friends, but that’s about it. We’d prefer a roommate that doesn’t drink in home on a regular basis.

We have two incredibly sweet, well-behaved chocolate labs. Both females – one is a mix bread and she is 40 lbs, 6 years old. The other is 50 lbs, 11 years old. We also have a 12 year old cat, Josie. Both dogs go to nursing homes and my husbands school as therapy dogs a few times a year.
We travel a few times a year. My mom usually comes over to stay and watch the pets. If you’d rather have the house to yourself and watch the pets, that’s totally fine. If not, my momma is the sweetest and can come over to care for them.
