About the Household:

There are currently 3 people living in the home: myself and my boyfriend, who share one bedroom, and one other roommate who has their own private bedroom. We’re all friends and generally have a pretty relaxed, respectful household dynamic.

We’re all working quite a bit, so the house tends to be more of a comfortable, low-key home rather than a party house. We’re looking for someone who will fit naturally into that dynamic.

About Me:

I’m a 38-year-old working professional and homeowner. I currently work two jobs. My primary job is in the IT industry and I work a hybrid schedule, so I’m home working during the day on some days of the week. I also work part-time in the restaurant/hospitality industry in the evenings.

Starting in January, I’ll be attending school full-time, so my schedule will change quite a bit. I’ll be at school Monday–Friday and working on weekends, and I’ll probably spend a good amount of my free time at home studying.

Outside of work and school, I enjoy sewing and playing ukulele.

As the homeowner, I’ll be living here as well. I’m pretty easy-going and want the house to be a place where everyone can relax and be themselves while still respecting each other’s privacy and shared spaces.

I’m not looking for a completely silent household, but I’m also not looking for a party house. I’m hoping for something in between — a friendly, comfortable home where everyone can do their own thing, communicate openly, and be considerate of one another.

There are pets in the home. We have one dog who only stays in the basement, as well as cats. I’m open to considering a roommate’s pet on a case-by-case basis depending on the pet and how they would fit with the existing animals.

About My Boyfriend:

He’s 34 and works in the restaurant/hospitality industry.

He’s easygoing and enjoys playing guitar and making music. He’s a bit introverted and quiet, but he’ll happily talk your ear off if you get him started on something he’s interested in.

He’s also somewhat of a night owl and spends a lot of his evening downtime in the basement making music. The bedrooms are on the second floor, so his music/hobbies generally shouldn’t be disruptive to someone sleeping upstairs.

About the Other Roommate:

Our other roommate is 27, uses they/them pronouns, and works in the restaurant/hospitality industry.

They’re fairly quiet and tend to spend a lot of time in their room. They’re respectful of the shared spaces and don’t cause disturbances.

What We’re Looking For:

We all work quite a bit and have our own lives, but we’re friends and have a good household dynamic. We’re looking for someone who would fit well into that environment.

Ideally, you’re someone who:

• Is respectful and considerate • Keeps shared spaces reasonably clean • Communicates openly when something comes up • Respects everyone’s privacy and personal space • Is comfortable living with pets • Is looking for a comfortable, stable place to live • Doesn’t mind a household where everyone has their own schedules and routines

You don’t have to be best friends with everyone in the house — we’re simply looking for someone who is friendly, respectful, responsible, and easy to live with.
