Rent a room in a house in a quiet neighborhood on a well lit street. Utilities, solid wi-fi, central air, screened in front porch, washer, dryer, large kitchen, fenced in backyard with patio all included! Street parking always available on the same block, usually very close to house .Two of the city’s police captain’s live nearby.

I own the house and live here so no absentee landlord to worry about if things break. I fix things as quickly as possible because chances are it will inconvenience me as well if I don't! It's a three bedroom place and I currently have one other person who's been living here many years now. I'm looking for one other person who is reliable, responsible, and respectful of the other housemates as we would be for you. We are both males, ideally looking for another male. This is a no drama home. We both have professional jobs We leave the partying at the bar and expect the same from you. There's 1.5 bathrooms and since we're on different schedules and we're guys, rarely is there an issue with bathroom time.

You won’t find a more convenient location. Walking distance to/from Trolley Square only a mile ; to Wilmington Hospital-8 blocks; downtown-12 blocks; Easy access to I-95 and points north and south. Work in the city? Save money by leaving the car parked and walking/scootering to work. Typically plenty of street parking. Backyard is great for tanning, reading, barbecues, etc. Screened in porch great for reading, enjoying a beverage, or conversing with friends. Brandywine Park only four blocks away, perfect for any and all outdoor activities. Also taking up residence are two chill cats and in the future, possibly a dog.

The room itself is cozy, quiet, newly carpeted, approximately 160 sq ft. But you have full use of the common areas in the house. The bedroom is furnished with a bed and a bureau. It's on the third floor (sorry, no elevator!), so you'll need to be in reasonable shape. The stairwell leading up to your bedroom is LED lighting so if Purple Rain isn't your color you can change it to whatever color you want.

Maintaining a clean house takes some work. If you’re the type who does the absolute minimum, or if you are a messy person, this is not the right place for you.

Three month minimum commitment and if everything works out it just goes to a monthly agreement and if you want to leave for any reason, all that is needed is a thirty day notice. Security deposit equal to first month’s rent plus first month’s rent required at lease signing.
