Hello! I'm looking for a roommate who has a well-trained and playful dog who can be a full-time play pal with my dog.

The apartment is 1,377 sq ft and has 2 beds and 2.5 baths. Your room has a private bathroom and a walk-in closet. The unit features: central AC/heating, washer/dryer, gas stove, dishwasher, fiber internet (no cable TV but you can pay for it if you'd like), and year-round abundance of dog hair.

The building is next to the American Airlines Center and near the Katy Trail in Dallas's Victory Park neighborhood. It has: 24/7 concierge, package lockers, gym, pool, business center, clubhouse, pet park, and free garage parking.

Your share of the monthly rent is $1000, plus half of utilities (see requirements below). You are responsible for one-time fees paid to the leasing office: ~$100 application, $500 dog admin fee.

I'm looking for a roommate who must have one (1) playful and well-trained dog. My 4 year old Border Collie loves to play, and because getting a second dog is too much responsibility, I'm looking for a full-time dog best friend for her. Your dog should be neutered/spayed and up-to-date on all shots (rabies, DHPP, lepto, Bordetella) and preventative medications (fleas, ticks, heartworm). A breed with similar temperament would be ideal (e. g., herding breeds, poodles, goldens, labs). Please note that the building prohibits aggressive breeds.

I previously worked in marketing and strategy at early stage companies, and currently work from home hoping to one day become a published fiction writer. I would prefer to be roommates with someone who has a steady office job with a consistent work and travel schedule, does not smoke or do drugs, and is close to my age (32). If you are in a relationship, your S. O. is welcome to visit occasionally but must have their own home where they live the vast majority of the time, and please make sure to invite them along when we first meet. Roommate agreement required.
