Sunny, new studio downtown New Haven

Lease takeover!

Looking to find someone to takeover my lease in a bright sunny studio in downtown New Haven. I had a job opportunity come up unexpected and I need to move to New York quickly, otherwise I would love to stay. On the 6th floor in a recently renovated historic converted building with an elevator and key code entry, I am the first person to live in this unit. Brand new full size refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher and in-unit combination washer/dryer. Large closet and tall cabinets provide good storage. Some of the studios in this building do not have a closet, so this is a lucky unit that does. Bathroom is a generous size and has a tub and shower. I have a queen size bed and it fits with room for a nice living room area. Central air and heat through a minisplit unit.

The building management is finishing renovations in the next few months on common amenity spaces - meeting rooms, gym, sauna, bike storage, and rooftop terrace. As of now, there is a small gym that you can use with no additional fee and a mailroom for packages. The management has been very responsive to me during my time here. Very convenient to Yale, downtown New Haven, Wooster, and East Rock. I currently have a five minute walk to work. Even being right on New Haven Green, the building and this unit have been very quiet. I haven’t heard my neighbors at all. Being on the 6th floor, you are high above any noise and unwanted views. There are garbage and recycling rooms on each floor and they get emptied every day. Pets are allowed!

Rent is $1550 per month and utilities (internet, water, electricity) have totaled around $150 per month. I do not have a car, but you could add a parking spot for an additional $50-$75 fee/month.

The remaining lease term is through October 31, 2026. Move-in could be as soon as March 1, but I can be flexible on a start date.
