Looking for a roommate to move in ASAP to share a 2-bedroom apartment in Winsted Connecticut. My previous roommate had to leave unexpectedly, so I’m trying to fill the room quickly.
Details:
* Rent: $900/month
* Lease: 6 months (Lease ends in October)
* Utilities: Split (typically around $90-200 a month, higher in winter due to gas heat) includes electricity and heating
* Move-in: ASAP
* Security deposit: $1,800 (first months rent and half the original security deposit)
About the apartment:
* 2 bed / 1 bath
* The room is available furnished with a twin loft bed and dresser, but I’m also happy to have it unfurnished if preferred.
* Located in a prime area, walking distance from downtown and local community colleges like CT State, located right off Route 8
* In-Unit laundry, Elevator, electric car chargers on site
About me:
I’m 22, work full-time, and keep things clean, quiet, and low-key. I value a peaceful home environment and good communication. I love nature and hiking, watching movies, and time to myself.
What I’m looking for:
* Someone with stable income who pays rent on time
* Clean, respectful, and communicative
* Okay with a shared chore system (weekly rotation/list)
* Chill lifestyle — no parties or late gatherings
* Social drinking is fine, but not heavy/daily
* 420-friendly, but no other drugs
