Part-Time Live-In Household Assistant (Room in Exchange for 15 hrs/week)

We are offering a private room in a spacious Pleasant Hill home in exchange for 15 hours of weekly assistance. The home is owned by Logan and Miyata and shared with three quiet DVC student tenants.

Schedule (Approx. 15 hours/week)
- Tuesday & Friday: 12:30–3:30 PM and 4:30–7:45 PM
- Other days: Light evening kitchen tidying (about 30 minutes)
- Optional additional paid work available at $20/hour

Role Responsibilities
You will primarily assist Miyata, a 75-year-old woman who needs moderate help with daily activities, including:
- Grocery shopping and meal preparation
- Light housekeeping and tidying
- Laundry and bedroom organization
- Light indoor/outdoor gardening
- General household upkeep and occasional personal assistance

Ideal Candidate:
- Female
- Kind, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable learning on the job (training provided)
- Able to drive (valid California driver’s license required)
- In good health and a non-smoker
- Has personal health insurance

A Filipino background is a plus due to familiarity with the cuisine, but not required.
