Apartment, separate entrance, great view!

Would you like a gorgeous view, access to tennis court, open space on three sides at the end of a quiet private street and quiet neighborhood? We have a large room in a mother in law unit on the first floor, that has its own entrance, sliding glass door onto a courtyard with a beautiful oak tree. If you are a bird watcher, you will be in heaven! There is one large bedroom, dining room, kitchen with new refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, oven, Stacked washer dryer. 1 bathroom with Shower. On site parking at no additional cost. This is the ground floor of a two story house and we live on the top floor. You share cost in utilities and water. No pets. Internet available. You share 1/2 utilities/water/garbage.

There are walking and bike paths all around. This house is close to a major shopping area, with everything you need access to within 5 minutes. But it is also set up on a hill, so when you look out, you see trees, not all the buildings below the trees. If you like public transport, Bart is a great connector to San Francisco, Oakland, South Bay and Berkeley areas, and since you are near the beginning of the line, you get your choice of seats if you end up going in rush hour. It is a 35 min drive to SF at non-traffic hours. There is sailing access for boaters within 10 min drive to marinas in Martinez and 30 min drive to Berkeley Marina.

Access to shopping, gas, groceries within 5 minutes. 10 minute drive or 20 min bike ride on protected paths to Pleasant Hill Bart Station.

Separate from the rest of the house where we live with our own entrance. We have our own kitchen and laundry upstairs. The kitchen is yours to use and store food, kitchen stuff, etc. We don’t use the kitchen, since we have our own.

We prefer someone who works outside the home primariy.. I am a native Californian and know the area well, if you need introductions. .
