Large bedroom with attached secondary room

We have a large 15 ft 8 in. by 11 ft 1 in. bedroom in a 3 bed 2 bath 1900 sq ft house. Attached to the bedroom is a 13 ft 1 in. by 8 ft 1 in. room that can be used as an office, walk in closet, storage, or whatever. The smaller room has a door to the backyard. The bedroom shares a bathroom with Freddy. The kitchen has 2 refrigerators. The person(s) who rents this room gets 1 of those refrigerators to themselves. There is plenty of room in the kitchen for your kitchen stuff if you need it. We also have a freezer in the garage for everyone’s use. Washer and dryer are in the garage. After the picture of the outside of the house are 5 pictures showing the bedroom and the attached room.

The bedroom was previously rented by a couple who owned most of the furniture in the house as well as the outdoor furniture. We will be looking to get new furniture for the house after the room is rented. No obligation or expectation on you to help with new furniture.

There is enough parking available for 5 vehicles, which leaves 3 spots. There is a backyard with mandarin orange, lemon, and lime trees. Also 4 planter boxes for gardening if you want.

The address is 2400 Geraldine, Pleasant Hill. The house is located off the Monument exit on 680, in walking distance to several restaurants, a nice 1.4-mile walk from pleasant hill BART, 2 miles to Costco, 1 mile to Safeway, and 2.6 miles to Trader Joe’s. It’s a quiet and safe neighborhood with kids playing outside and folks walking dogs. You can't hear the interstate or BART if the windows are closed.

• Rent is $1365/mo (deposit is same as 1st month’s rent) for a 1-year lease
• Utilities average out to $100/mo per person. Highest in the summer as we do use the air conditioning.
• We also pay someone to cut the grass and take care of the weeds, which is 120/mo for the house divided by the number of housemates.

You will be sharing the house with 2 very chill and clean housemates:

Randy is a 34 yr old engineer working in Emeryville. Randy likes to workout, hike, cook, and play board games.

Freddy is a 25 yr old programmer working in Pleasant Hill. Freddy likes to listen to music, play digital games, and occasionally board games.

Available for move in now. Ideal move in is by July 1st.
