Room for Rent – $850/month

We're a couple (a teacher and an education advocate) looking for a third housemate to share our home. We're hoping to find a quiet, respectful student or working professional who is financially stable, easy to get along with, and looking for a peaceful place to live.

We've been fortunate to have wonderful long-term housemates—our current housemate has lived with us for over 7 years, and the housemate before that also stayed for 7 years. We're looking for someone who values a clean, drama-free, and respectful home.

We have normal daytime household activity (music, laundry, vacuuming, etc.), especially on weekends. We're usually asleep by midnight, though we're occasionally up later on weekends.

Private bathroom (located just outside the bedroom and not shared)
Futon available if needed
The layout provides good privacy, with another room separating our bedrooms, making it feel like you have your own wing of the second floor.

$850/month
$400 security deposit
First month's rent + deposit due at move-in
Utilities and internet included
Laundry available for $50 a month

House Expectations
No smoking indoors, no drugs, and no heavy alcohol use.
No children or pets at this time.
Respectful guests only.
Clean up after yourself and help keep shared spaces tidy.
No drama—we're looking for someone who values a peaceful, considerate living environment.
