More Than a Room — A Conscious Home

Some people are just looking for a place to sleep. This isn't that listing.

This is an invitation to share a warm, beautiful and grounded, 3 bed 2 bath in one of Fort Collins' most coveted neighborhoods — Parkwood East, nestled among mature trees and just minutes from Edora Park, centrally located between Drake and Timberline/Lemay.

**The space:**
The lower level is yours — a generous main room that works beautifully as a bedroom, a separate small office space, and a ¾ bathroom exclusively for your use. There's significant storage in the unfinished basement, a shared 2-car garage, and a fully fenced backyard made for quiet mornings and easy evenings. One thing worth knowing upfront: the washer/dryer and basement access are also on the lower level, so I would occasionally pass through to use them.

**The household:**
I'm a 57-year-old who works from home and lives a contemplative, low-drama life. The house is calm, clean, and intentional. I share it with Teddy — a gorgeous dog who is sweet and playful and also likes to let you know he's doing his job protecting the house. He will probably love you immediately.

**Who I'm hoping to find:**
Someone kind, honest, humble, and genuinely curious about what this life is all about. You are naturally generous. Sharing — food, space, chores – these are easy for you. You speak your needs clearly so resentments don't get a foothold. And you carry a lightness about you because you know, at some level, that life is a gift.
You love dogs (not just tolerate them).

What I'm envisioning is a home we are both genuinely grateful to be able to live in a nice home in a beautiful neighborhood with a housemate who is looking out for best interest. A spiritual inclination is a real plus here. At minimum, an openness to that kind of energy. This is a sober-friendly household.

**Lease:** July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027
**Rent:** $1215/ month
**No parties. One magnificent dog already in residence.**
