OFFERED: One bedroom available in a Golden home perfectly situated between the city and mountains. Rent is $1070/person + $75–110 for Xcel, trash and internet (landlord covers water). Available September 1st, possibly sooner if needed.

LOCATION

This house is all about the location. US 6 and I-70 are both quickly accessible, making a trip to Denver about 15 minutes and Copper Mountain barely over an hour away. Work is a quick commute, downtown Golden and Clear Creek are a bicycle ride away and when it's time to head to the mountains, the Denver metro (and traffic) is already in your rearview mirror.

Don't choose between the city and the mountains–do both!

THE SPACE

The house and yard have enough space to hang out or throw a dinner party when we're feeling social, but also enough room to find your own nook when it's time to settle in with a cup of coffee and a book.

The yard has two planter boxes and an established 500 sq. ft. garden with drip irrigation for anyone who wants to grow flowers, herbs, tomatoes or anything else.

The 3-car garage is oversized with lots of tools, a workbench and storage for cars, motorcycles, bicycles or any other projects like refinishing furniture. SO MUCH ROOM FOR ACTIVITIES.

LOOKING FOR

Like-minded, mature and respectful roommate who want a place that feels good to come home to. Must be financially stable, easy-going, self-aware and good at open communication and compromise. The ideal fit values privacy and personal space, but also enjoys being part of a friendly household. I would love to find people who want to hang out, cook, chat and get into the mountains when our schedules allow. Kindness required.

ABOUT ME

I work in and manage restaurants and usually work nights. I’ve been renting this house for 8 years and have a great relationship with the private landlord who only stops by the house when something needs to be fixed or looked at. I love climbing, snowboarding, cooking, watching weird indie movies, reading, trying new restaurants, drinking coffee, working on motorcycles and cars, gardening, hiking, camping, hanging out in the yard, building things, meditating and good conversation.
