This is a chance to share a home while enjoying abundant space and the deep quiet of a peaceful environment. This is not just a "room for rent"; it is a collaborative living space for someone who values connection and integrity.

What’s Included:

Your Private Space: A cozy bedroom and bathroom on the garden level.

The Garden Living Room: A spacious area for you to unwind, work, or create. You are welcome to furnish and decorate this space to make it feel like home, with the understanding that it remains a welcoming common area for the household (I occasionally use this space to enjoy the fireplace).

The Workshop: Access to the basement workshop—ideal for artists, craftspeople, or anyone needing a grounded place to build and dream. (Available for minimal storage if you have a few extra boxes that need to be put away)

Shared Home: Full access to the kitchen, laundry, and all shared common areas.

Utilities: All utilities included + High-Speed Wi-Fi.

The Vibe:

Peaceful, grounded home ideal for someone who values solitude, creativity, and sanctuary.

Deep respect for energy, space, and quiet stillness.

Clean, updated, and very well-kept.

This house does not have a TV, but you are welcome to watch at a respectful volume during non-quiet hours.

Early to bed, early to rise. Quiet hours are between 9pm-7am.

The Offer:

$1,000/month + $500 Deposit.

Month-to-Month Lease (with a mutual 30-day notice for peace of mind).

Background/Eviction check required ($30 fee via secure link).

About Me:
Hi! I am a 40-year-old female. I work from home (for now, this may change) and spend most of my free time reading, listening to audiobooks, cooking simple meals, and hanging out with my sweet little dog (hypoallergenic) who lives here part-time (4 days a week).

I'm introverted and love a quiet, peaceful home, but I enjoy occasional social time, especially if it involves a good board game or a walk at the park just around the corner.

I rarely watch TV and rarely have guests over—this home is my sanctuary. Because this is a restorative space, I do not host overnight guests and ask the same of a housemate (occasional exceptions can be discussed with written notice).

I prefer fresh air and keeping things as natural as possible. I rarely use the AC, though the house has it. In the winter, I like to keep the space warm and cozy. The garden level where you'll be stays naturally cooler year-round, which is quite comfortable if you prefer that environment.

OTHER TENANT: The house will never occupy more than 3 professional adults (including me.) If the other room (upstairs) is occupied, you will have the opportunity to meet them before finalizing anything. I like a convivial house and for everyone to get along!

The "Team Effort": I do my best to keep the home running smoothly, but as any homeowner knows, things always come up. I’m looking for someone who doesn’t mind pitching in with basic upkeep—mowing the grass, shoveling the driveway, or minor repairs. It is a team effort to keep a home’s energy and integrity high!

Animal Lover: You will be hyper-vigilant about doors and cleanliness to keep my dog safe.

Fire: You don't mind an occasional fire in the fireplace. I don't use the fireplace often but it is a nice feature to join around on cold nights. Smoke is minimal but could cause an issue if you are sensitive to this.

Location: 📍 Located in a quiet, beautiful area of Lakewood with easy access to Belmar district, shops, and transit.
