Room in cozy house in awesome neighborhood!

Hi all!

My roommate of 3 years is moving to CA, so I will have a room opening up end of May, with the official lease starting in June. It is $975 and the landlord pays trash and water.

Room is 9x12 feet with large window and closet. One shared bathroom (but I’m super clean), kitchen (it’s huge!) and living room. There’s storage in form of an extra hallway closet, attic, and crawl space. Small porch with table and chairs, and shared backyard with our friendly neighbors.

The neighborhood is AWESOME. 10 minute walk to Tennyson street for all the bars/restaurants/coffee shops, 3 minute walk to Safeway, 10 minute walk to Rocky Mountain Lake Park. Bikeway neighborhood. It’s a short drive to sloans/downtown/RiNo.

About me: I’m a 32yo busy professional AND student, but in my free time I like to be outside when the weather is nice or inside binging my favorite shows when it’s 7 degrees outside. I have a ton of houseplants. I have 5 frogs and 3 tarantulas. Currently they are in the common space but I am more than happy to keep them in my bedroom if you’re not into the creepy crawlies.

I love to share my food so I don’t have to eat the same meal for 5 days when I cook for myself. I enjoy hosting the occasional game night or bar crawl and more than happy if you enjoy having friends over, too. House is chill but social.

I am looking for: someone relatively clean who can pay their bills on time. I would love to be pals with a roommate, but I’m okay also having our own space. Open to either male or female, 20’s or 30’s, remote or in-person. You would have to try to negotiate a dog with the landlord, but I’d love to have one in the house if possible. Sadly no cats due to allergies.
