House Rules & Preferences
Non-smokers preferred. However, we are 420-friendly provided it is restricted to outside or the designated area in the garage.

Safety: We have a zero-tolerance policy regarding violence, theft, or illegal drugs.

Atmosphere: We respect personal space; your areas are your own. this is a secure home base, not a party house.

We take pride in the relationships we build. Our renters average a stay of 2 to 3 years, and we have stayed very good friends with many of them—you might even meet a few! We are happy to provide references from past tenants so you know exactly what it's like to live here.

Who We Are Looking For? We are looking for someone who wants a home, not just a place to sleep. The ideal housemate takes pride in where they live and believes in teamwork.

About US: We are a married couple in our 40s. Our 17-year-old son lives here with us, and we have two grown daughters (28 & 21) who live on their own. We love our home in the Summer Lake neighborhood and enjoy the short walk to the reservoir and the dog park.

Our Philosophy: We describe ourselves as true "Colorado people." We pack in and pack out, we wave to our neighbors, and yes—we always return our shopping cart. We believe in being good neighbors and using our home to help provide a space for others.

The Atmosphere: We don't do politics or religion here; we prefer hearing about your latest outing or trail hike. We have always shared our space and have met amazing people throughout our lives, and we hope to do the same with you.

Important Note on Pets: You must be comfortable with animals. We have a Border Collie, an Australian Shepherd, and two amazing cats. The dogs are well-trained and know that your area is private, and they are good about following that rule, but this is definitely a pet-friendly household.

You get your own private, full-sized side-by-side refrigerator, full-sized microwave, Keurig, HEPA filter, robot vacuum, etc.. oh.. and any other kitchen needs are also available stove, dishwasher.. etc. Unlimited Gigabit Internet with your own Private WiFi network (great for security). We sit on a large 1/3 acre lot. There is a spacious backyard with plenty of room for a garden if you have a green thumb..
