Hi all! Looking to rent a basement bedroom/private bathroom at my place starting September 1st.

A little about the house:
It’s a 2100 sq ft home with 3bd/2ba across from Regis university. It’s easy access to Tennyson, clear creek trail, and interstates 70/76. I’ve lived here almost 4 years. I live upstairs, and there’s a spare bedroom for a traveling friend (a few nights a month) and for when family/friends visit. We would share the living room, kitchen, garage, storage, yard, and power/garbage/internet bills.

About the room:
The downstairs basement room is a large 14.5x13.5 sq ft room with a private bathroom. It has one garden level window. It stays nice and cool in the summer, and former roommates have had space to have both a bedroom and office space set up in here. The closet extends under the stairwell, a 9x4’ space. It’s the only room on this floor, so it’s very private.

A bit about me:
I’m an active, 39 year old, career-driven, and respectful female roomate. As an elementary teacher, I work weekday/business hours so I would prefer someone who has similar working hours. I’ve got a 3.5 year old white lab named Lucy. She will be losing a buddy dog when my current roomate moves in August, so if you have a friendly dog or are looking to get one that would be quite welcome. I’m pretty busy outside of work- I travel for camping/climbing trips, host occasional bonfires/gatherings, and enjoy gardening. I’ve had roommates who became best friends, roomates who’ve shared meals, and roomates who travelled for work. I’m flexible in communal living and respectful each unique relationship. My hope is to find someone who also cares about their career and values having a cozy, clean, and peaceful nest to come home to at the end of the day ❤️
