Room in Duplex – Walkable to Shops/Park, Yard

Room for rent in a duplex in a quiet, walkable neighborhood. The room is approximately 120 sq ft with a closet and can come furnished with a bed (or unfurnished if preferred). Shared bathroom.

The house is fully furnished and has in-unit laundry, a kitchen with granite countertops, and filtered water on both the sink and shower. There’s also a garage and additional storage space available. If you'd like to bring furniture, it is welcomed as long as it reasonably fits.

Large, fenced yard with a lot of potential—currently being improved with wood chips and a raised garden bed. The dog uses the backyard and has a doggy door.

Street parking only, but generally manageable.

Utilities are electricity and gas, split between roommates. No WiFi currently, but easy to set up if you wanted.

Pet may be considered with landlord approval, as long as they get along with a current small, friendly dog. Pet deposit may apply.

About me / what I’m looking for: I’m looking for someone around late 20s–early 40s who’s a good overall fit. I tend to be more of a homebody and like a peaceful, low-key space. I keep things clean but comfortable and lived-in.

I’d prefer someone who enjoys sharing a space and is easy to live with (respectful, communicative). Not a party house, but welcoming to friends.

The landlord would give final approval after a credit check and phone interview. You would be added to the lease, which ends mid-August, but can be renewed again for another year.
