Home is centrally located in Santa Cruz County, not far from Scotts Valley and Felton in a secure neighborhood called ‘Eastridge’ (Ben Lomond) in central Santa Cruz County.

The property manager is interviewing male candidates. Only 1 boarding tenant occupant per room and no pets are allowed. Would be sharing the full bathroom with the existing UCSC student tenant, once a decision is made to rent the room to you after reference checks have been completed and you meet with the other male tenant. This is a nice warm room with a sliding glass door for bringing in more light with adequate closet space. All boarding tenants have complete access to kitchen and cooking equipment, refrigerator and cooking privileges, living room, formal dining room, entertainment center in the living room with fabulous views, exercise equipment, and large outdoor tent dining during the spring and summer.

All lodging tenants share a full bathroom across the hallway with step-down shower, classic Italian tile vanity, and tiled floor. The shared bathroom includes a brand-new ceiling inset LEDs lights, modern water-saving quiet fast flush Toto Ultra Max II toilet, and a richly tiled roman style combo shower - tub, vanity, and three-direction mirror.

All Lodgers have full access privileges in the modern kitchen with new LED lights in the ceiling, 2 Refrigerators, 4 burner gas range; breakfast and formal dining areas, 2 large microwave ovens, 1 baking oven, and 1 modern 4 burner gas range embedded in the kitchen island.

The other formal dining room next to the living room can be used for study or computer work; and all tenants can use the 5-speaker surround sound media center - a large 55 in flat smart screen TV in the inviting living room with spectacular views of the Santa Cruz Mountains. The room comes with its own optional Direct TV connection, Netflix and other streaming stations, Xfinity Wi-Fi Internet access throughout; new water-efficient new LG (water saving) washer and (energy saving) gas dryer in the laundry room, safe parking in the driveway or in quiet safe vehicle traffic cul-de-sac directly in front of the home. Looking for tenants who don't mind certain chores are shared such as cleaning your room biweekly, cleaning your bathroom biweekly and or putting out the trash out every Sunday or Monday for Tuesday early AM pickup.

There is some extra storage in the basement for a few more dollars per month. Off street parking is available on a large front yard concrete driveway for medium, and smaller vehicles. All tenants must purchase their own annual renter's insurance that costs approximately $185/year can be purchased if you want from State Farm Insurance agent before moving in.

Please prepare a list of references in advance if you have time for employers, business associates, friends, and former landlords unless you are a student co-signing a rental agreement with a parent, before coming by to view the room and home.

All tenant lodgers have access to a local Olympic size high school swimming pool only 2 miles away for a $5.00 fee paid per visit or $25 per year at SLV High School. Excellent bicycling and day hiking region and close proximity to City of Santa Cruz Loch Lomond Lake for boating and fishing.

The property manager (me) does live on the property all the time but lives quietly at the other end of the home in his own bedroom suite and is respectful, chill, and easy to get along with. Not interested in living and sharing a home with alcoholics nor drug users though beer and wine is acceptable in moderation.
