Lake at Rancho Goleta

Come join me in beautiful Rancho Goleta Lakeside. 3-bedroom home in a delightful park. Includes a beautiful lake, swimming pool, jacuzzi, work-out room, and community hall. I'm looking for two compatible housemates.

Note: This is a drug, alcohol and pet free household. One-year lease preferred or we can discuss a month-to-month rental.

The home is located one mile from the beach, and one mile from UCSB.

I’m looking to share with others who are clean, responsible, and respectful. Occasional work from home is fine; however, the place is not set up to support full-time remote work. We can only accommodate two cars in the carport, so I’m hoping one of you rides a motorcycle, bicycle, or e-bike. If that’s not the case, one of you will receive a reduced rent to park your car outside the park (about a 3-5 minute walk).

Rent includes:
• Unfurnished or furnished room includes bed, dresser, desk, chair
• Bathroom and hallway linen closet
• Use of fully equipped kitchen with new appliances, living room, dining room, back yard with patio furniture
• Full use of park amenities—pool, jacuzzi, work-out room, community room, and a lake where you can fish or boat
• Home laundry room with high quality LG Washer/Dryer
• Utilities including gas, electric, trash, wifi.

I am a 43-year-old single male working as a drug and alcohol counselor. I’m out from noon-8 PM weekdays. In my free time, I run a non-profit called discoveryrecovery. org taking newly sober individuals on excursions and recreational activities . I love to surf, garden, and watch football.

Although I own the home and also live on the premises, I want this to feel like a respectful, cooperative shared home for all three of us. My hope is that we’ll communicate openly, be considerate of one another, and create clear household agreements together around things like noise, guests, shared spaces, and day-to-day living.
