Room for Rent 2br 2ba Apartment - Shadowridge

I have a brand new 2br 2ba apartment at the Shadowridge Summerwind Apartments in Vista, CA. Lease starts February 1st and that's when I'll be moving in. This is the Moriah floor plan if you want to check it out on their website.

I've been living in in this community for the last 5 years in one of the 2br 1ba units but I'm upgrading to a 2br 2ba unit. Excellent place to live, beautiful area, central to everything, great food everywhere, perfect weather year round, 15 minutes from the beach, and the property managers here are chill. It's a very nice, clean, quiet, safe community.

I'm a 35 year old man. I work as a paralegal in Carlsbad. I'm gone M-F from approximately 9:30AM - 7PM on weekdays and I go to the gym most nights after work from 8:30PM - 11PM. Weekends I'm usually out and about running errands and what not or at the beach or gym so I'm not home too often. I know the photos show an empty apartment in the ad, but the living room/ dining area will be fully furnished with my couch, TV, coffee table, kitchen table, etc. after I move in. You'll only need to furnish your own room and bathroom.

I'm looking for a CLEAN, reliable, trustworthy, friendly, considerate, and professional roommate. We can also have a cleaner come in once every week or two if you're interested and split the cost. It's not that expensive and we can discuss it later.

I love animals so I'm open to having a roommate with a pet if they're responsible and the pets are well behaved. You'll have to pay the extra pet rent and submit a pet deposit, though. I'm not sure how much it is, you'd have to ask the leasing office.

Full rent on the unit is $2,740, but I figure I'll pay slightly more since my room is slightly bigger. Utilities and internet typically come out to $400 - $500 every month, which we'll split.

I will be running a background check on any applicant and the leasing office requires you to submit a credit check application, as well. It's a $40 fee you pay to them directly.
