Double room near UCSD

We’re looking to fill a spot in a double. The room is a large master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet. We have a fully furnished living room, and all kitchen equipment + shared groceries would be available to use.

The apartment complex has a 24/7 access laundry room and gym, a pool, a picnic area, and a work lounge. We’re friendly with our neighbors and never have problems with noise from the surrounding apartments. Plus, we’re on the top floor (with elevator) so no upstairs neighbors! Covered parking is available, as well.

Location-wise, we’re a five minute walk from several bus stops with access to the 201, 202, 101, 30, and 41, and a fifteen minute walk from the Blue Line trolley. There are two shopping centers and two I5 on-ramps within a half mile, and we’re within a mile of the closest corner of UCSD (2-3 bus stops away).

We have a small, quiet, toothless, non-shedding dog who’s chill with both cats and other dogs, so we’re open to another pet! As a household, we like to craft, cook, watch shows in the evenings, and run errands together. We'd be happy for you to join in on any of those activities, but it's equally chill if not.

A little bit about us:

🐀, 22M - I’m a master’s student researching neuronal mechanisms of alcoholism. I play in and arrange for a student music ensemble, and love to collect trinkets and plushies.

🌌, 25X - I’m a recent UCSD alumni with a B. A. in Public Policy. I’ve mostly worked in conservation and museum spaces, and currently work at a small zoo/aquarium. I love exploring town and finding interesting places to eat, things to try, and ways to volunteer.

🖖, 22X - I’m a current 4th year undergrad majoring in Cognitive Science w/spec Neuroscience. I currently work in play-based behavioral therapy, and in my free time, I draw, crochet, and paint, play percussion (not in the apartment, I promise!), and hang out with my dog.
