’m looking to rent out a private, unfurnished room in my brand-new three-story townhouse in San Marcos. Rent is $1,400 a month.

• Perks: This summer, the community clubhouse opens up (with a pool, gym, and cabanas), and there’s a massive park being built right across the street with tennis and pickleball courts.

• Location: Super convenient. We're about 5 minutes from CSUSM, Kaiser Permanente, the 78 freeway, and there are plenty of local spots to eat and shop.

About me & the vibe: I’m a working professional and the homeowner. Because I have a pretty busy schedule, I really value a calm, respectful, and quiet living environment. I keep the home very clean and organized, so I’m looking for a roommate who is responsible, tidy, and does the same in shared spaces. It’s a drug-free and pet-free home, and while I’m super friendly and easy to get along with, I definitely respect personal space and good communication.
