Private room with own bathroom near CSUSM

Room for rent in San Marcos within walking distance of CSUSM. Applicants must be respectful and have a parent cosigner if under 21. $1100.00/month rent includes all utilities, WiFi and amenities. Rent is due first of the month. Space available starting 5/31/2026. The space includes one private bedroom and an attached full bathroom in my townhome. The room is located on the first floor away from everything else. You basically have your own floor. The room has carpet and a small closet and the bathroom has a granite countertop. Space comes with a small table and bed that are not pictured. If you don’t want them, they can be removed. Renter will have full access to common spaces, stainless steel and granite kitchen, and an in-unit washer/dryer. One attached garage spot is available, if needed. Small pets are allowed. Quiet time starts around 11pm daily. No cigarette smoking in the house. Home is within walking distance to grocery stores, coffee shops, restaurants, and recreation areas. There is a gym, pool, and hot tub in the complex. No filling out an application unless we both want to proceed. There is a small fee for the background check. Deposit is $500. You can see the place but the current occupant is still living there. The complex has a pool, hot tub and a little gym.

The lease is 6 months to start, then month-to-month afterward, but I’m looking for someone to stay at least a year or two. A student is okay as long as you are responsible, considerate, and clean.
