My husband and I have 2 fully furnished rooms for rent in our spacious and peaceful 2-story, 2,071 sq. ft. home in a quiet neighborhood very close to CSU San Marcos and Palomar College and a commutable distance to UCSD, SDSU, and USD. The rooms are perfect for students or professionals looking for a calm, clean, and respectful living environment. Room #1 is on the 1st floor and is just over 100 sq. ft. and includes a queen bed with all new bedding and pillows, nightstand, mini fridge, desk w/ chair, closet w/ built in organizer, and ceiling fan w/ light. This room is $1,350 a month and includes all utilities, internet, and monthly cleaning service. You will have access to a full, recently renovated, bathroom which you will share with just one other person. Upon move-in there will be a one time security deposit of $1000 which will be returned when you move out as long as there is no damage to the property, house, room, or furniture. Of Note: we are open to renting to a couple for this room; however, to account for the extra expenses of a couple, rent will be $1450 and security deposit will be $1200.

Room #2 is on the 1st floor and is just under 100 sq. ft. and includes a twin bed with all new bedding/pillows, nightstand, mini fridge, desk w/ chair, closet with built-in organizer, and ceiling fan w/ light. You will have access to a full, recently renovated, bathroom which you will share with just one other person. This room has a large double-door entrance, and the bathroom was recently renovated to accommodate a wheelchair; therefore, this room could be great for a person living with a disability. This room is $1,250 a month and includes all utilities, internet, and monthly cleaning service. Upon move-in, there will be a one time security deposit of $1000 which will be returned when you move out as long as there is no damage to the property, house, room, or furniture.

Our home is located on the greenbelt in the quiet and peaceful Woodland neighborhood of San Marcos. Some of the home amenities include central AC/heat, large kitchen with plenty of storage and access to our pots/pans/appliances, comfortable second living room with TV and cable, on-site washer & dryer, spacious backyard, access to large neighborhood park, and plenty of unassigned street parking. Our home is extremely close to CSUSM, Palomar College, Safari Park, Sprinter station/public transportation, Palomar Hospital, grocery, shopping, restaurants, and much more.

My husband and I are quiet, respectful, and sober. We do not have children, but we have 2 friendly dogs, and a cat (who mostly stays up-stairs), so you must like animals. I work from home in the tech recruiting/career coaching space, and my husband works outside the home as a veterinary technician. We maintain a relaxed, low-key lifestyle, and we’re looking for a tenant who values peace, cleanliness, personal responsibility, and likes dogs/cats (I know we said this part already, but liking animals truly is a must).
