Private room in a 3bd/2bth townhouse

Hi! We’re seeking one person to join our 3bd/2bth two-story town home at the edge of Mission Hills and Midtown starting September 1 or shortly after that date. This is a month-to-month lease at $1,151/month.

This apartment complex is near the intersection of India and Washington, a couple minutes' walk to several restaurants and a convenience store, 10-minute walk to a trolley stop, and about a 20-minute walk into the heart of Old Town or Mission Hills.

Amenities include an in-unit washer and dryer, AC and heat, dishwasher, and a large outdoor patio just off the living room. Water and trash are paid by the landlord. Internet runs about $38 each per month, and SDG&E is usually around $35 each per month depending on the season. There are two dedicated parking spots for our unit, plus additional free/unmetered street parking in the neighborhood.

Your room is on the upper floor and very private! It is large and could fit a queen bed, nightstand, dresser, shelves, desk and chair. Room is unfurnished. You would share the upstairs bathroom with one other roommate. Your window looks out to our private patio/yard area and a lot of leaves and greenery that provide total privacy (no one can see into your bedroom windows).

About your future roommates: female, 35 and 40, fully employed on M-F hybrid schedules (working either in-offices or from home depending on the day). We’ve both lived here for a few years. We treat the house as a peaceful place and most often keep our social lives outside of the home, although the occasional friend might stop by from time to time. This is a non-smoking, drug free home. We welcome a roommate who might like to occasionally grab a meal, go on a hike/walk, or watch a movie – but no pressure if you’d rather do your own thing!

We prefer no pets but may be open to considering someone with a very quiet, clean, and well-behaved animal. If you have a pet please let us know so that we can honestly evaluate (case-by-case basis).
