Hillcrest - 1 Bedroom 1 Bath Rent Controlled Apt.

Looking for an apartment in the heart of Hillcrest? Need somewhere that's clean, safe, and full of amenities? Look no further!

I'm moving out of the city and need to find a subletter for my 1 bed 1 bath apartment to finish out my lease or sign on for a year, up to you. It is available ASAP and the lease ends 2/23/2027 OR you can sign for longer (just discuss this with the leasing office).

The apartment has a washer/dryer combo in unit, as well as a dishwasher and a lovely patio. It gets lots of light from the floor to ceiling windows. The ceilings are 11ft tall, and because of the cement ceiling and I'm assuming walls I rarely hear my neighbors.

The place is pet friendly, has a very nice gym (that practically no one uses so it feels like a private gym), a rooftop heated pool, and access to the sister property and their amenities. It is within walking distance to Ralphs, trader joes, and all the bars/restaurants Hillcrest has to offer. It's close to the 163 which makes getting places super easy and quick. There is a parking garage under the building but there are limited spaces and is $225/month. I do street parking and it's very rare I can't find a spot close by.

The base rent is $2520, wifi is $70, and trash is variable but I've never paid more than $25 for it. This is an affordable unit through the San Diego Housing commission, which means its rent controlled and utilities are included!

In order to qualify for it, you have to submit some paperwork (the leasing office will help with that) and there are limitations on income.
For a single person, you cannot make more than $109,950.
For two people you cannot make more than $125,700.
