1 Bedroom Available in Cozy Pool House near SDSU

Looking for a housemate to share my cozy 3-bedroom place, just a mile from SDSU. I live here with my friendly cat, Finnegan and 1 other roomate.

About Me:

I'm a 31 year old software engineer, born and raised in San Diego. When I'm not working, I am surfing, climbing, hiking, exploring, traveling, or making music/art (violin, synthesizers, samplers, etc). I work from home on Monday and Friday.

Bedroom: 10.5' x 11.5' (not including the closet), with a window AC unit. I swapped out the old light that is in the photo with a cool glass leaf lamp thing btw

Bathroom:
Beautifully tiled bathroom with a shower/bathtub. Shared with one other roommate.

Common Areas & Features:
The living room is spacious, with couches, a TV, a piano, and even a vintage Victrola. The huge backyard has a rock-lined pool, a gondola, and a mix of fruit trees, pines, and an oak—making it feel like you’re not in the city anymore. I handle the pool maintenance and gardening (there's really nice 100 yr old roses in the front yard every spring). There’s also a garage with a dryer and brand-new washer.

Location:
The house is located on a quiet street with plenty of parking. It’s within walking distance to Vons, a nearby park, and lots of restaurants. <5 minute drive to trader joes. 20 minutes to downtown. Close to both the 8 and the 94 freeways.

Additional Details:
High-speed internet and water are included in the rent. Power and gas will be split evenly, and we can discuss a plan for AC usage during the summer (just tell me how many hours you use it and will do some math).
