I am seeking a quality roommate who will share in the community of a home; sharing household responsibilities. Division of responsibilities helps everyone. That way one person is not doing everything to maintain a quality clean environment and spending valuable off time doing chores. I understand many people don't want to or think it is their responsibility to help keep a house clean, especially when they rent a room. Floors get dirty and have to be vacuumed and mopped regularly. Bathrooms and kitchen needs to be cleaned too. You can opt out of those chores for an additional $75 a month.

Past roommates and I have established very comfortable living environments and a home, while retaining individuality and respect for space and privacy. An important consideration is that you are living in my home. I furnish most everything from furniture, dishes and equipment to decor.

My home is located in a quiet, semi-rural upscale neighborhood in Poway. Grocery shopping (Sprouts, Stater Bros., Grocery Outlet, Aldi, Trader Joes, Amazon Fresh, WalMart, services, MTS and eateries are within a mile. Costco and Home depot are about 5 minutes away. Carmel Mountain ; Scripps Ranch shopping areas are 5 miles and 4S Ranch is a mere six miles. The I-15 Freeway is about 5 miles allowing easy travel times to Escondido, to the north or points south in Mira Mesa, Kearny Mesa, Mission Valley and San Diego within 20 minutes. If you want to go to the coast, the 56 commute is about 20 minutes.

This is a good home for a student or professional. Gay or straight. NO PETS OR COUPLES. No Work from Home. No Bitcoin mining etc. Not a party house. Smoking/420 outside in designated areas

Kitchen and food storage always is of concern. Dry packaged food can be stored in bedroom in sealed plastic totes. All food and meals will be consumed in dinning area or other identified areas. No eating or food prep in bedroom, water bottle excepted. If needed a mini fridge can be used.

Rent will be $1275 a month inclusive of all utilities, laundry supplies, cleaning supplies, TP paper goods (TP, PT etc.) .
Owner occupied home. Retired professional male.

If you want additional services: cleaning, housekeeping, laundry and linens, all are available for an additional fee.
