Looking for an environmentally conscious person to share 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage near Rose Creek in Pacific Beach.

The available unfurnished bedroom is 11’x13’, has a large mirrored closet and two windows.

New bamboo flooring in 2024. Double-pane windows. Big kitchen/dining area. Two off-street parking places with tandem parking that we would share. Front and back patios.

It’s walking distance to three bus lines (8, 27, & 30), the San Diego Trolley Blue Line, Rose Creek, and Mission Bay. Easy access to Interstate 5.

I am in my 60s and work from home as Faculty in the Community College District. I am also engaged in community and environmental issues.

I am seeking a roommate who believes in living lightly on the planet, knows how to recycle properly, is considerate, and is active. I believe we can share the responsibility of keeping common areas clean.

I am quiet but on occasion I do have friends who visit and will be sleeping on a futon in the living room.

I am a vegetarian and would prefer the same or a vegan roommate, but am open to carnivores if we can agree on ground rules in terms of kitchen equipment usage.

I love to ride my bike, swim, practice yoga, and be active.

This house has a small backyard and a front yard where we can grow organic veggies. The back has a covered patio and the front has a smaller covered patio.

No tobacco smoking or vaping on the property. No marijuana smoking or vaping indoors.
