The Details

• $1,800/month, all utilities included
• $800 deposit
• Month-to-month lease
• Clean rental history required

The Household
You’d be sharing the home with a detail-oriented owner and two large dogs who consider themselves the property managers. If they don’t approve of you, honestly, neither will we, they’re excellent judges of character.

What We’re Looking For
A clean, quiet, considerate housemate who’ll treat this home, antiques, gas stove, floors, and all with the same care we do, a detailed sense of ‘pride of ownership’. We’re easygoing as long as basic home-sharing etiquette is part of the deal: think before you leave something out the dogs might get into, be mindful of shared spaces, and treat the house like it’s yours to take care of, not just live in.

Nothing complicated, just the kind of consideration most people already bring to living well with others. But as they say, there’s a reason for the “don’t feed the alligators” sign.

Not a Fit If You’re Looking For:

• A place to bring pets (we’ve already got two, thanks)
• A revolving door of guests. This is a peaceful, quiet household, not a party house. In a relationship expecting to move in together soon. This space is for one person and one person only

• Smoking or drug use of any kind

We’ve had great experience housing long-term tenants in the past that PCS’d to Camp Pendleton and welcome serious, respectful applicants who value a calm, well-kept home.
