About the Household

We’re two males in our mid-30s with established careers—one in medical devices and the other a Jiu Jitsu/fitness instructor. We’ve been longtime friends since high school and have a great friendship and household dynamic.

We both lead active lifestyles and are busy with work, fitness, Jiu Jitsu, and our other interests, but we also enjoy spending time at home. We regularly hang out in the common areas and occasionally have family-style dinners, movie nights, game nights, or just relax together.

I typically work from 8am–5pm and stay at my girlfriend’s place a few days a week. When I’m at work or away, my current roommate is welcome to use my bathroom as well, giving everyone additional flexibility with the bathroom situation.

We’re looking for someone who is friendly, responsible, clean, respectful, and enjoys a social but laid-back home environment.

There’s no expectation that everyone has to hang out all the time. We respect everyone’s privacy, personal space, schedules, and downtime. We’re looking for someone who wants to feel comfortable and at home here rather than simply renting a bedroom.

Monthly Cost

Rent: $1,500/month

Utilities are split separately and typically run about $80–$120/month per person, depending on the season. Summer utility costs tend to be higher due to use of the AC unit in the living room.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re hoping to find someone who is responsible, financially stable, respectful of shared spaces, clean, communicative, and easy to get along with.

An active lifestyle is a plus, but not a requirement. We’re more interested in finding someone who is considerate and enjoys living in a friendly household.
