Unique Space for Rent

This unique space is a live/work space in Ocean Beach.

There is a dance studio and dog boarding business connected, and one person also lives/works on site.

I am looking to rent out the upstairs loft area, which is a unique living space: It is about 8 feet wide, 20 feet long with low ceilings.

The main floor is located on the second floor, and the loft is located on the 3rd floor and is private.

The roommate has access to a shared kitchen, living room, washer/dryer, and bathroom with shower and tub. Rent is $1000/mth with utilities included.

Parking is street parking only, but there is ample parking nearby. Coffee, boba, hair salons, library, restaurants, and a church are all in walking distance. We are 2 miles to dog beach, about 9 minute drive.

Ideal roommate would be female, comfortable with dogs, quite tidy and cleans up after themselves, be comfortable with music from nearby dance studios, is a non-smoker/drinker, has a fulltime job or is a student, is extremely responsible, and is quiet and respectful of space/roommate.

Dogs are welcome, as long as they are vaccinated, potty trained, and like other dogs.

About me: I am a 46 female, mostly work from home, and I do love the quiet while I work. I also teach dance classes next door and at other locations in San Diego. I love animals and have two senior small dogs, and watch up to 6 other pets at a time (sometimes). I am a vegan and would love to share space with another vegan. I am a Christian, but open to anyone with any beliefs. I wake up around 7am and try to sleep around 11pm. I love people, but consider my home as a place to recharge and repair.

This rental would be month to month, and the roommate would pay the first and last month's rent upfront. They would need to pay for a background check, and pass the landlord's requirements as well.
