One cozy private room available for single occupant with private entrance in three-bedroom/ two-bathroom house. Shared with two easy-going, quiet, respectful male housemates.

Located in quiet Normal Heights neighborhood just off Adams Ave.

Shared bathroom with one roommate.

Room is small. Sadly without a storage closet. We recommend buying a hanging rack and dresser for clothes.

$680/month plus utilities.
Utilities (sdge + internet) typically come out to $50-100/month. $700 security deposit.

MUST AGREE TO STAY UNTIL AT LEAST END OF LEASE MARCH 1st.
Rent likely to go up $50-$100 per person upon lease renewal starting March 2027.
We operate on a year-round lease.

We’re ideally looking for a long-term roommate (someone who will stay for a year or more).

Property management WILL RUN A CREDIT CHECK with your application.
A credit score below 650 will NOT be approved.

Room is available for move-in once property management approves your application!

HOUSE RULES:

Any late payments of rent/utilities will NOT be tolerated. Not even once. Seriously.

Off-site laundry.

There is NO built-in air conditioning!
Portable units recommended for hot summers and cold winters.

Driveway fits only ONE car. Agreeable to alternate days so there is equal use. Neighborhood parking is free and close.

Must be cat-friendly! This is a big one.
We have one strictly indoor cat who has been a resident for years. He is very dear to us.
He stays in a room for most of the day, but likes to be in the living room in evenings.
He is very friendly, never hisses, scratches or bites, but will always run/hide from you. Please don’t take it personally.
You will NEVER be asked to feed or tend to him in ANY. WAY. He his very well taken care of and cleaned up after.
He must be treated with kindness and courtesy when in view. Just don’t bother him when you see him.

NO ADDITIONAL PETS ALLOWED.
We can only have one pet on the lease and our cat won’t get along with another animal in the house.

This is a QUIET. HOUSE. We can’t stress this enough! One roommate is RETIRED.
Please, NO loud behavior. NO loud music. NO house parties. NO loud guests.
We each enjoy quiet living.

We kindly ask that the cleanliness of shared spaces always be maintained.
Everyone is expected to clean up after themselves in this house.

Your roommates are very low-key, and respectful of one another’s privacy/boundaries to preserve a peaceful, safe, stress-free home.
We ask our new roommate to help us maintain this living arrangement as it’s always been!
