Apartment of Your Dreams Awaits!

Hey, potential future roomie!

We’re looking for a fun, mellow, respectful roommate to join our cozy little household. Our previous roommate is in the process of moving out, so we’re aiming for an August 1st move-in, but we’re happy to do tours before then.

The Apartment

Located in a super convenient area of San Diego:

* 10 min to OB
* 13 min to the airport
* 5 min to Trader Joe’s
* 4 min to Fashion Valley Mall
* Next to a golf course
The building is safe with on-site security.

We’re ground floor and steps from the pool + gym. The pool/jacuzzi area feels like a resort, and the complex also has BBQs and a pizza oven.

The Room

You’d be renting the second bedroom, which includes:

*Spacious closet with large sliding mirror doors
* Large shared bathroom with two sinks (very clean)
*Windows that look out onto the backyard area
* Room can fit a King Size bed comfortably

The apartment has a lot of charm, a gas stove, and plenty of kitchen storage.

About Us

Carla is 28 and works as an early childhood educator. She has a five-year-old son, Mason, whom she coparents with her ex. Mason is here about 50% of the time, but is in preschool til around 6 pm during the week and goes to sleep around 9 pm. He is a great kid and very funny!

Phoebe is 33 and is currently working on her Master's in Social Work, and is the dog mom of Mamasita.

We’re both “extroverted introverts”—friendly and chatty, but we also value personal space and quiet time. We like hiking, yoga, and cooking healthy food.

There is one dog currently living in the house, "Mamasita." She is an 8-year-old Australian Cattle dog, and her personality is super chill and sweet. She never barks and honestly keeps to herself a lot of the time (favorite spot in the house is Phoebe's closet). She would most likely get along fine with another dog, although there might be a small adjustment period. Might have a harder time with cats, but we are open to cats. They would just have to take turns being in the living room space.

What We’re Looking For

A grown-up roommate who:

* pays rent on time
* contributes to basic cleaning without being asked
* is considerate in shared spaces

You don’t need to be spotless, but being generally tidy (dishes, laundry, occasional vacuuming, etc.) matters.

We value kindness, independence, creativity, open-mindedness, and silly goose energy!
