Self-employed as a dog trainer, the third bedroom in the unit is a dog crate room, and the yard is a training space. So although I’m not looking for a housemate with dogs, I do need my housemate to be okay around dogs. Only my two personal dogs are ever left loose in the house; training dogs are under strict rules, and no one is expected to interact with them (unless of course you want to and they are approved for interactions).
