APARTMENT DESCRIPTION: This 2 bedroom, 1 bath unit is decorated in the industrial style meets country living, with lots of stainless steel. Upgraded features include a designer shower with built in bench and natural pebble floor, a hollowed out boulder for a sink, with a natural pebble backsplash, a mirrored medicine cabinet, a private laundryroom (No washing laundry for Nonresidents), a large kitchen with stainless steel appliances, wood cabinetry and quartz countertops, imported tile bleached "beach-wood" floors througout, ceiling fans, and french doors that open onto a tree-shaded patio.

DESIGN THEME: My father was a Navy pilot who was killed in action when I was young. So I decorated this apartment to look like an aviation factory. I faux painted the doors to look like aged metal and stenciled factory logos on them and on the bathroom cabinet.

LOOKING FOR: a nature and pet loving, positive, mature, nonsmoking, clean, moderate, responsible, and considerate individual. Must have a steady income, appreciate nature, and want to live here long term. Please, no smokers, drama queens or addicts (that includes alcohol, drugs, gambling, etc). NO illegal drugs or abuse of prescription drugs. Mobile Seniors welcome. No allergies to dogs, cats, or horses.

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant must be able to submit references and documentation that proves their continuing ability to pay the rent at the time of the application. A criminal background check will be conducted.

PARKING: Parking is off-road, with one place on the blacktop. There is room for a modest sized trailer for no extra charge, with further space rental for 1 additional vehicle approved on a case by case basis, for a monthly fee. Larger trailers on approval only and will require a monthly fee.

RESIDENT PETS: Dog and cat friendly pitties, one a pocket pit, live on the property.

YOUR PETS: Allowed on approval, with pet deposit, 1 to 2 friendly cats or 1 to 2 dogs who get along with people and other dogs with pet deposit. Pitties welcome. Dogs must be well trained, and not aggressive or yappy. Sorry, no puppies due to chewing issues.

LOCATION: Serenity Oaks is located across from Blossom Valley at the Lake Jennings Park Road Exit off of HWY 8 in Eastern El Cajon. Features rapid access to downtown El Cajon, a 15 minute drive to Santee, Tierra Santa, or the College area, 22 min to Mission Valley, and 28 min to downtown San Diego (more during traffic hours). Public transportation (bus) is a mile + hike away with some of it uphill, with the trolley a 15 min drive way, so a car, bike ownership, or a love of long walks is a must.

With 5.5 acres, choose from many locations to enjoy nature, read a book, or hike.

PRICE: All this can be yours for a very reasonable $2495 a month, first month's rent, a deposit of $2495, the months utility fee of $80, plus any applicable pet deposit, all due on signing the lease.

A fee of $55 for a credit/background check will only be asked for if you are the choice for renting this place. Too many make this into a cottage industry, collecting fees from everybody. Finding a new place to rent is hard enough without that sort of nonsense
