Located in a safe, quiet area of La Costa, I have an unfurnished spare bedroom and bathroom available for rent. (Working on getting exact measurements, but large enough for a queen size bed, dresser, nightstands) Shared use of the kitchen and living room with cathedral ceiling and lots of sunlight, leading to the balcony. Washer and dryer in unit.
Complex has on site parking, pool and hot tub.
Less than 2 miles from Vons, Trader Joe’s, Sprouts, Stater Bros, post office, CVS and more.

NO DRUGS, NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND, NO PETS.

About me: 40F, mature, respectful, considerate and very clean. Respectful of boundaries. Calm, no drama, doesn’t have constant guests or throws parties (I usually host a small Friendsgiving). Employed full time, works remotely. Likes hiking, pool/beach days, traveling, cooking, and chill nights in. For habits and behavior, I am what I ask/expect from you.

About you: No criminal record- the complex and my employer will run background checks on you, due to the nature of my remote work. If you have guests, they are not allowed to enter the home if they have any criminal history. You will be responsible for ensuring this.
Looking for someone mature, respectful, considerate and very clean. Respectful of boundaries. Someone calm, no drama, who doesn’t have frequent guests or throws parties. Employed full time away from the home (preferably no remote work- very rare exceptions may be made*). Not a big drinker. Hoping for someone who doesn’t mind being friends if you’re planning on living here/spending time here; understandable if you’re only using the room for a back up place (you travel a lot, you live elsewhere and need a steady place when you visit)

Proof of income required/3x rent.

Kitchen- I have freed up the cabinets and counter space on one side of the kitchen for you to use. You will also have your own side of the fridge/freezer. You will have to supply your own kitchen items such as food, utensils, dishes, dish soap/sponges, etc.
Please do not eat my food or use my things, as I will show you the same respect.

Living room is fully furnished.

Rent is $1100 month to month, plus splitting the utilities 50/50. (Gas, electric, WiFi: approx $150-$200). $800 security deposit.

Move in date flexible.
