Private Bedroom in Historic Boulevard Park Home

A large private bedroom is available in my spacious historic home in Boulevard Park, one of Midtown Sacramento’s most attractive and walkable neighborhoods. The rent is $1,150 per month plus utilities, with a month-to-month rental agreement.

The house is a 3,750-square-foot Colonial Revival home located close to restaurants, cafés, bars, and everything else that makes Midtown such a great place to live. I have rented rooms to housemates since 2009, and people often comment on how comfortable, peaceful, and welcoming the house feels.

The home underwent a major renovation in 2018–19 and has been very well maintained. It has plenty of shared space, so even though you are renting a room, you won’t feel confined to it.

The spacious first floor is available for everyone to enjoy, including the living areas and full kitchen.

Upstairs are five bedrooms and a large balcony overlooking the tree-lined boulevard, with comfortable outdoor furniture for relaxing. One upstairs bedroom is used as a shared multipurpose room with a futon sofa and a second TV.

The available bedroom is especially large—approximately 256 square feet. It is listed as unfurnished, although it currently has a queen-size bed and some furniture. You are welcome to use the existing furniture, or it can easily be stored if you prefer to bring your own.

Three housemates each have their own private bedroom and share a conveniently located full bathroom with a shower/tub.

There are currently 3 working professional housemates who contribute these qualities to the environment: quiet, positive, responsible, respectful and enjoying laughter shared amongst us. Everyone in the house is on their own schedules doing their own life routines, and always enjoy small talk between passing. Current age range is 30 plus. We’re looking for a considerate, responsible housemate who would enjoy living in a comfortable, peaceful home and sharing common spaces respectfully with others.
