Room for Rent: Peaceful & Charming 1920s Home

Are you a quiet, respectful female student or young professional seeking a comfortable, peaceful, and fully furnished place to call home?

We (myself and my two resident feline co-hosts) have one cozy room available in our charming rental home where cleanliness, quiet, and good vibes are a priority.

The Home & What You Get:
Rent: $950/month, ALL UTILITIES INCLUDED (Electric, Water, Garbage, High-Speed Wi-Fi, Netflix, & Hulu).

Negotiable: Rent may be reduced for a highly qualified tenant or in exchange for a cleaning credit (see below).

The Vibe: A cute, pre-war home (under 1,000 sq ft) with a vintage feel, a cute and calming backyard, two resident cats, and a very cute and chill snake. I am the current renter and am looking for a responsible housemate.

Your Room: One unfurnished bedroom. The house has HVAC for heating and cooling.

Shared Spaces: Full access to all common areas, which are fully furnished: living room, dining area, kitchen, and a small, shared bathroom.

Amenities: In-unit washer and dryer access, and a tranquil, relaxing backyard oasis perfect for unwinding.

Storage: Designated space for your things in the kitchen cabinets/drawers and in the living/dining area shelving.

Requirements & House Rules (Please Read Carefully):
To ensure a great fit and maintain our peaceful environment, we are looking for a housemate who aligns with a quiet lifestyle:

Preference: Female student or young professional.

Cats: Must be absolutely comfortable with and respectful of two cats and a snake that stays in his enclosure. No other pets, please.

Parking: Street parking only (garage is used for the owner's car).

No Smoking/Drugs: This is a strict non-smoking, drug-free home. This includes no alcohol on the premises.

Guests: We maintain a very quiet and peaceful home. No overnight guests and limited day visitors.

Discount Option: The Cleaning Credit
I am offering a $125 monthly rent discount in exchange for taking on the majority of the house cleaning for the shared spaces (kitchen, bathroom, living room floors, etc.).

Option 1: Standard Rent: $950/month (I handle cleaning of common areas).

Option 2: Discounted Rent: $825/month (You handle the majority of common area cleaning).
This discount is non-negotiable and is a fair compensation for consistent, thorough cleaning.
