Furnished Room In Remodeled Home

Hi, my name is Riley. I own and live in a fully remodeled home in the quiet, safe College-Glen neighborhood, and I’m renting out one of the bedrooms. The room is a spacious private bedroom that can come furnished with a bed, dresser, TV, and nightstands, or you’re welcome to bring your own furniture if you prefer. It has a ceiling fan, a closet, and a large window with great natural light. You’ll share a recently updated bathroom with a modern vanity and a glass-enclosed tub/shower. The common areas include a fully renovated kitchen with quartz counters, stainless appliances, and bar seating, plus an open living room with a large leather sectional that’s great for relaxing. Common areas are professionally cleaned on a regular basis; you’re just responsible for keeping your own room tidy. Rent is $1,000 per month flat, with all utilities included. That covers electric, gas, water, sewer, garbage, landscaping, high-speed internet, and TV subscriptions, so you don’t have to worry about separate bills. You’d be sharing the home with my wife and me, plus two other quiet, retired housemates. Everyone is clean, respectful, and either working or retired. This isn’t a party house — we like a calm, friendly, drama-free environment — so the room is ideal for someone mature, responsible, tidy, and who pays rent on time. The location is excellent: we’re just a few minutes from Sac State (CSUS), Highway 50, grocery stores, and restaurants, and close to the American River parkway and trail system for walking, biking, or running. There is plenty of street and driveway parking available. We do have one medium-sized friendly dog who mostly hangs out in our room. The room will be available sometime between December 26 and January 1, and we can be flexible for the right person. We don’t allow smoking, drugs, or large parties.
